Scott Bales Joins Movenbank Journey as Chief Mobile Officer


As Chief Mobile Officer, Scott will be responsible for defining the Movenbank mobile-centric bank technology vision and implementing the mobile technologies that will enable Movenbank customers to spend, save and live smarter.

Scott joins Movenbank with over ten years international experience in financial services innovation, thought leadership and implementation planning, most recently as SVP of Partner Solutions at Fundamo, a VISA company. Scott’s previous roles include management of technology solutions and strategies in retail banking, risk management, cash management and transaction banking.

Scott commented: “I’m excited to get on-board the Movenbank journey. The convergence of mobile, social networks, behavioral game theory, banking and personal financial management has been a theme throughout my experience. Joining Movenbank is my chance to help the team to achieve its mobile vision by implementing totally new, third-generation, mobile experiences that will work for every customer and that will be fun to use.”

Scott has a Bachelor of Applied Science, a Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology and a Masters of Business.
